Couples therapy for Amstelveen
In Amstelveen, at your home, on location, or online: couples therapy and individual coaching in whichever way suits you best. My practice itself sits in neighboring Uithoorn, ten to fifteen minutes' drive from Amstelveen — close enough to visit without much planning. Sessions in Dutch or English.
Practically next door
Of all the places I work, Amstelveen is closest to my practice. Uithoorn borders Amstelveen, so a session is a short drive rather than a long journey, easy to fit around work or the school pickup.
Because Amstelveen is so close, working on location is a good option too. And if travel time makes a particular day hard to meet, we switch to an online video session without losing any time.
At your home, on location, or online
Some clients from Amstelveen prefer for me to visit them at home, in the comfort of their own space. Others come to the practice in Uithoorn instead, or we work entirely online. What works best is something we figure out together, and it can vary from one session to the next.
For couples who want to keep things practical, meeting at home is often the easiest option, especially with young kids around. We settle on what feels right during the intro call.
Getting to Uithoorn from Amstelveen
Prefer to come to the practice? The drive from Amstelveen takes ten to fifteen minutes, and there's ample free parking right outside. By public transport, via Amstelveen and central Uithoorn, you're there within half an hour.
For couples and individuals
Amstelveen, like Amsterdam, is home to many international families, and within a household not everyone always speaks the same language. I coach in Dutch and English, for couples who keep hitting the same conflict, and for individuals who want to work on their own patterns.
Whether you come together or alone, the starting point is the same: making visible what keeps repeating, so you have a choice again.
Starting from Amstelveen
The work begins with a free, no-obligation call of around 15 minutes. We talk through what's going on, I explain how I work, and you decide whether it clicks, no pressure, and nothing to prepare. Given how close Amstelveen is, fitting in a first session is usually easy.
Follow-up sessions last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on what's being discussed that day. We decide on frequency together: weekly, every two weeks, or another interval that fits your situation.
Good to know
I work as a certified relationship coach (SNRO-accredited, trained at Sonnevelt): practical and forward-looking, with no waiting list and no referral needed. If something heavier calls for clinical care, I'll say so honestly and help you find the right place.
